Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr Bring Munich's Oktoberfest Experience to Life

Celebrating Traditions and the Brews Served at the First Oktoberfest in Munich in 1810

White Plains, NY - Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr, two authentic Munich beers, will once again bring the Oktoberfest experience to life at the 173rd Annual Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. The 18-day-long Oktoberfest celebration will be held in Munich from September 17 to October 3.

Millions of visitors from around the world will gather at Oktoberfest, the largest public festival in the world, to experience the sights, sounds and beers of Munich. Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr, two of the original brews served at the first Oktoberfest in 1810, are among the six breweries within the city limits of Munich invited to serve their beer at Oktoberfest.

Rich in Munich heritage, Hacker-Pschorr's roots are firmly planted at Oktoberfest thanks to the Pschorr family, who donated the land upon which Oktoberfest is celebrated today.

"Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr are the epitome of Munich's Oktoberfest brews that have been a part of this event since the very first celebration in 1810," said Mary Anschutz, Star Brand Imports Brand Manager for Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr. "Today, these brands continue to be entrenched in Munich's vibrant culture."

Paulaner Oktoberfest is a classic Bavarian "Märzen" style beer with a clear, rich amber color, brewed with 100% all-natural ingredients. It offers consumers a rich, full taste and a creamy, full finish.

Hacker-Pschorr Original Oktoberfest's traditional recipe is brewed with the finest all-natural local ingredients and is 100% natural. The caramelized barley and sweet malty nose make this a traditional amber Märzen style beer.
